[Followup to: Korea's Historical Treasure Burns.] On the first anniversary of the arson destruction of the Namdaemun ("The Great South Gate" in Seoul), the authorities revealed the restoration site/process to the general public [photo above from chosun.com]. The goal is to rebuild a more comprehensive version of the original gate complex. The photo below shows Namdaemun circa 1904, when people and goods still passed the gate.
