On June 6, more than 200,000 Koreans in Seoul have gone to the streets to protest against President Lee Myung-bak, dissatisfied with his handling of the US beef import issue. Students and citizens, young and old alike, are protesting and marching together, reminiscent of the massive protests in late 1980s that brought democratization to South Korea.
