Protests in South Korea Continues

Protests against the Lee Myung-bak government are not showing signs of subsiding. Rather, it is intensifying and expanding throughout South Korea, as well as to major cities overseas with large Korean population, such as London, Frankfurt, Sydney, New York, and Washington, DC. Protest in Seoul has now drawn 700,000 and is nearing 1 million. Rather than heeding to the citizens' demands, the Lee administration has set up a huge barricade (bottom photo) using cargo containers on the main road towards the Blue House (the presidential office/residence). Is he making his citizens the enemy of the state?
