First Regular Train Service Crosses Inter-Korean Border
In another milestone in inter-Korean reconciliation and cooperation, the first regularly-scheduled train service since 1951 began to cross the DMZ that divides Korea (see the photo above), carrying freight back and forth to the Kaesong industrial complex, where another breakthrough in Korean rapproachement is being fulfilled in joint economic ventures.
