Another milestone for Korean soccer teams (South and North) at FIFA World Cups: both teams will be playing in the quarterfinals of the Women's U17 tournament at Trinidad and Tobago on Sept. 21. The North Korean team [photo] is the defending champion of the U17 Cup. A possible final match between the two Korean teams would be a historic event, as it may boost hopes for rekindling of inter-Korea relations.

Update: The South Korean team beat Spain and advanced to the final,
for South Korea's first final in any category of FIFA tournaments, whereas the defending champion North Korean team lost to Japan.
