North Koreans Visit the Wall Street

News Items: "U.S. and North Korean officials will hold talks to explore ways of better integrating North Korea into the international financial system, the State Department said." More

"A North Korean financial delegation is visiting Wall Street to contact financiers and attending a seminar on easier access by the isolated, communist state to the international financial system, sources here said Sunday." More

Commentary: Who would have predicted that North Korean communists would make a visit to the Wall Street -- their denounced symbol of American capitalism and imperialism? And North Koreans having interest in international financing systems such as the IMF? And the US Treasury officials giving advices to North Koreans on international financial matters? Are things moving this fast towards US-DPRK rapproachement?
