Ethnic Koreans in the Far East Russia, who settled there after escaping the Japanese colonialism in their homeland were designated by the Stalin regime as an "unreliable people" and potential spies for Japan -- and were forced to move to a barren land in Central Asia. Despite the hardships, ethnic Koreans persevered, survived and maintained Korean culture and traditions.
